Project overview

Acting on behalf of a trusted asset management firm, Develeco undertook a full EPC assessment and costed improvement report spanning ten units across a business park complex. Our assessors carried out a detailed site survey capturing every relevant element across the portfolio, covering all mechanical and electrical systems, fabric build-ups and use classes for each unit. This information fed directly into a comprehensive building model, with each unit logged and assessed individually to reflect its specific characteristics and occupancy. The quality of the information gathered made a tangible difference to outcomes. For several units, the depth and accuracy of our assessment alone was sufficient to significantly improve the EPC rating, removing the need for any physical improvement works and delivering immediate value to the client. For the remaining units, we developed tailored recommendations specific to each space, structured around the client's available budget and required delivery timeframe, with every measure practical, proportionate and ready to act on. The result was a clear, portfolio-wide picture of energy performance, giving the client confidence in both the current position of the assets and the most cost-effective route to improvement.
